Olivia Byrd
Olivia Byrd is a filmmaker, writer, and video editor based in Burbank, CA. Byrd graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and a Minor in Theatre Studies and studied film production at The Georgia Film Academy. In May 2024, Byrd was awarded the top prize for a one-act play in the Porter Fleming Literary Competition hosted by the Morris Museum of Art in Augusta, GA. In May of 2023, Byrd attended the 76th Cannes Film Festival on a study abroad with UGA. Byrd served as State Chair and District 3 Representative for the Florida Scholastic Press Association from 2019-2021 and held the position of Managing Editor of Viera High School’s TV Production program from 2019-2020. She is certified in Adobe Premiere Pro, and is proficient in Adobe After Effects.
